Managing Novel Coronavirus risk
January 27, 2020
Our overriding culture at Major Player is to have the interests of our students and families at the centre of everything we do.
We note the emergence of the Novel Coronavirus, initially in the City of Wuhan but now having a known presence in many surrounding Asian Countries and now in the West, including Australia.
If families have travelled in or through Wuhan or the Provence of Hubei over the holidays and returned to Australia in the last two weeks we request that they delay their return to lessons until at least 14 days since their return to Australia.
If any other families have similarly travelled overseas in Asia we would ask that they join the Hubei travellers by being particularly vigilant in daily checking the health of their families for flu-like symptoms and quickly referring to their medical experts if ANY symptoms arise.
At Major Player, we will be asking every student to wash their hands before attending any class. Hand sanitisers will also be present in each teaching studio.
We look forward to a rewarding and safe year together.
